The proposed Kingscliff Resort has been designed with a strong sense of place, in harmony with nature. Its minimal footprint, native landscaping and environmentally sensitive design is intended to reflect the low-key beach culture and relaxed lifestyle Kingscliff has enjoyed for generations.

The eco-sensitive development will include a range of community facilities, 180 low-rise bungalows for tourist accommodation, extensive environmental rehabilitation of Lot 490 and adjoining Lots 489 and 500 and improved pedestrian and bicycle access to the beach, Cudgen Creek and bushland areas.

Architecturally, the bungalows will reflect a coastal theme and express a strong connection with nature in celebration of beach culture. Materials used in the design of the bungalows will be in tune with the local character in terms of colour and texture and appropriate for coastal environmental conditions.
